The Balance Beam is a free-standing wooden balance beam. Children are encouraged to build their skills of balance, coordination and agility in a fun, unstructured way.

The Balance Beam makes getting active fun. Challenging core muscles, building strength and engaging great posture. Creative thinking skills are exercised as well. Are they crossing a raging river or scurrying like mice for the last piece of cheese?

The free-standing Balance Beams can be installed in minutes and last for years. They are made from solid UK hardwood with the bark removed. For better grip when children are playing cross-hatching has been added.

Great for creating a path for play; install multiple units to create an exciting, moveable adventure trail. Combine with free-standing Stepping Logs for simple unending play or with a Den Building Kit for adventure.

If you’ve imagined a free-standing balance beam that’s longer than 2.2m, it’s not impossible; a simple addition of a central foot and we can make these beams up to 6m long! Do get in touch for a quote.

  • Warranty: 12 months, extended to 5 years for bespoke timber elements and 10 years on structural timbers.
