Cross-hatched Stepping logs are designed to be permanently rooted into the ground. They can be placed in straight or curved lines, grouped together or spaced apart. A group of five makes a permanent low-level link to introduce or connect other natural play elements.

The cross-hatching makes these ‘off-road’ stepping logs perfect for a natural play area nestled under trees.

All Stepping logs actively support balance, and the varying heights of Cross-hatched Stepping Logs gently challenge coordination too. Even with cross-hatching, they can also be a simple rest spot to ready yourself for the next traverse.

Each Cross-hatched Stepping Log has had the bark removed and is sanded smooth; there is no fear of snags or splinters.
