Play Crates are ideal for Mud Kitchens and Activity Stations. Part of our modular and mobile range of outdoor play resources. Hand-made from solid, sustainable UK hardwood.

Play Crates for use as part of our modular mud kitchen range. Use for storage, to make a stage, mud kitchen or playground building projects.

These beautifully made Play Crates are part of our modular and mobile range of outdoor resources. They have been designed to encourage independence, allowing children to take the lead in their play. Use them to store your loose parts, make shelves or combine them with Play Worktops or the Hardwood Plank Collection to make surfaces, seating and tables.

However you choose to use Play Crates, they will help to make versatile, multi-functioning, outdoor learning and play spaces, and children will enjoy building different layouts as well as creating some wonderful potions, pies and muddy mischief!

These stackable, sturdy crates with indent handles come in a variety of sizes and have optional lids.

  • Small is 160mm high. 400mm wide x 500mm long
  • Medium is 300mm high. 400mm wide x 500mm long
  • Large is 500mm high. 400mm wide x 500mm long
  • The lid fits all the crates

Please note that when used upside down to make a stage, each crate should have a lid on it to prevent wobble.

Our wooden products may move, bend and develop minor cracks. This is a natural process and we feel it adds to the character and natural aesthetic.
